Tottenham team news ahead of United clash this afternoon

Tottenham Hotpsur play an out-of form Manchester United team at Old Trafford this afternoon with Ange Posteocoglou keen to make it a double win over the Red Devils this season for the first time in the clubs history for over 40 years.

Manchester United are boosted by the return of six players, with Casemiro, Lisandro Martinez and Luke Shaw all back in training.

Antony is also available, while Amad Diallo and Christian Eriksen have both returned after illness.

Tottenham’s latest recruits Radu Dragusin and Timo Werner are likely to make their debuts or at least feature on the bench at Old Trafford.

Cristian Romero is in contention after recovering from a hamstring strain ahead of schedule.

Mickey van de Ven is back in full training and is also in contention to start today for the first time since November!

Ben Davies is out with his own hamstring injury, while Giovani Lo Celso is sidelined with a muscle issue.

Timo Werner joins Spurs on a 6 month loan deal with option to buy.

Finally, here is our predicted lineup ahead of this Super Sunday clash in the North West:

Vicario, Pedro Porro, Cristian Romero, Mickey van de Ven, Destiny Udogie, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Rodrigo Bentancur, Dejan Kulusevski, Brennan Johnson, Timo Werner, Richarlison.

We predict a debut for Werner but just the bench appearance for Radu Dragusin as both Romero and VDV are back.
