Since Ryan Sessegnon signed for Tottenham in the summer of 2019, after the Champions League final, we haven’t seen his full potential in a Spurs shirt. Many injuries in his first season, a change of manager and COVID-19 made it difficult for the former youngster.
Then in the 2020/21 season, he got loaned out to Germany and played better. He showed some form of potential but not enough to get him back into the Spurs starting 11 under Nuno. Since then, he’s been in and out of the team, not showing enough, similar too many players in this squad.
It has been reported today that Premier League side, Nottingham Forest are ‘interested’ in the Spurs & English full-back. [Alan Nixon]
